Safety is a core value.
The goal of the Wayne Crouse safety committee is zero accidents on our job-sites. To follow through with that goal the following steps have been taken to solidify our commitment to safety:
Joint field/management safety committee
Suggests training, reviews accidents and administers safety awards
Annual safety dinner
This is a time for management and field personnel to get immersed in safety topics. The topics covered specific safety training such as fall protection and excavation safety and it is also the time were we give out safety awards. The safety dinner is a great event and the culmination of the year for our safety program.
Rigorous safety training- OSHA 10 and 30 hour classes
Training goals include having 100% of our project managers earn their OSHA 10 hour certification
Safety Newsletter
The newsletter is a great communication tool to go over new safety topics as well as lessons learned about safety on our job sites.
Job site safety inspections
These inspections are required by the safety committee. They are conducted to audit the safety culture and practical application of safety at all job sites.
Safety orientation for new hires
The safety orientation is done by the hiring foremen. It covers Wayne Crouse safety regulations and hazard communication.
Safety Awards:
